Aberdeen Café Bridge in support of Archway

Care and support for children and adults with learning disabilities

Wednesday 6th May 2026 10:45am - 4:00pm

We are pleased to announce Aberdeen's inaugural Café Bridge Day in aid of Archway organized by Aberdeen Bridge Club with the help of Victor Lesk. The sun always shines on Café Bridge, and it is impossible not to have a good time, especially in the company of Scotland's friendliest bridge players.

We've teamed up with CWAS (Cycling Without Age Scotland) for the day, so if you're not quite as mobile as you used to be, you might want to consider hitching a ride on a trishaw. For more about CWAS and their trishaws, check out their webpage here.
Please contact events@aberdeenbridgeclub.co.uk to book a trishaw ride.

Aberdeen Café Bridge is now provisionally full. However, the organisers are looking for space to expand the event.

Aberdeen Café Bridge is now full for 2026.

Please click the following link to register your interest in participating. In case of a cancellation, we will contact you and find out if you are still available to play.

The cost to enter the event is £60.00 per pair, to include a day of convivial bridge and a light lunch. Please sign up below using the link after which payment instructions will be sent to you.

If you were on the waiting list but have been given a place, please book using this link to receive payment instructions

THANK YOU

Thank you from the organizers to everyone who joined in the Aberdeen Café Bridge on 6th May 2026.

We intend to update this page over the next few days with the final sum raised for Archway. In the meantime please send us any feedback on the event and we will use this to help improve for future events.

We look forward to welcoming you at the next Aberdeen Café Bridge.

More information about our beneficiary can be found here:

Instructions for arrival on the 6th May: Registration will be held at Aberdeen Bridge Club, 14 Rubislaw Terrace, Aberdeen AB10 1XE, between 10.15 and 11.00 am. Only one member of each partnership needs to register, but if your partnership is scoring, then the phone-owner should be present.

Scores are entered by players on their phones using the BriAn app-based scoring system. This allows us to declare a winner very soon after the last board is played. If you have not come across BriAn before, you can find out more here.

Please contact us with any questions about the event. We look forward to welcoming you on 6th May.
